The 2023 target, being at least 20 MWp of photovoltaic sites under contract in the development pipeline, was successfully exceeded.

While more than 50 sites were reviewed over the course of the year and a large number were subject to negotiations, seven plots at various locations in France and Germany were ultimately secured by contract. In Germany, these are exclusively sites next to federal highways or double-track railroad lines for which the privileged approval procedure applies.

"We expect a total installation capacity of around 33 MWp on the secured sites and anticipate that construction will begin relatively soon, particularly in Germany," says SolarKapital Managing Director Dr. Andreas Leimbach. "We are very confident that the resumption of development activities was the right step and is a good strategic fit with the operation of the portfolio in Germany, Greece and France by now including more than 50 PV systems."
